The tactile, whitish structures in Veronika Khachaturian’s works, immersed in gradations of uneven blue spaces (from soft azure to deep dark blue), unintentionally activate the associative nature of our consciousness.
— Marina Protas, art critic
Khachaturian’s visual language is built on the principle of layered meaning. Her works function as ‘visual riddles’, unfolding gradually — from the viewer’s initial intuitive impression, through the questions ‘why?’ and ‘for what purpose?’, toward interpretative attempts. This journey may lead to insight or leave the viewer suspended in ambiguity — and that, too, is an intentional part of the artist’s design.
